The 5 Elements of a Simple Condo Profile:

So you want to create a condo profile but don’t know when to begin? You’re in luck. Because today I’m going to show you how to create a condo profile using just 5 elements to complete it. That’s right – only 5 steps to complete an entire condo profile. Got you interested? Good. Keep reading.

First, let’s take a look at my sample condo profile:

Pretty nice, eh? I admit, I’m no graphic’s artist, so you’ll have to forgive me if the style is too plain for your tastes, but it works well for mine! And let’s be honest here, people come for the facts first, looks second.

Now before I show you the completed backend in the Website Editor, take a look at the elements used to create this Condo Profile:

  1. Created a Page to host the content
  2. Added a Heading to help break-up the text, and it also helps with SEO (if it is your keyword/phrase)
  3. Added a Rich Text Box in which I’ll add the description and picture of the condo building
  4. Added an IDX Pinpoint Flat Search – allowing me to specify an address and display all available listings from there
  5. A Form – allows for interested parties to contact you.

Step 1: If you’re unfamiliar with how to create a page, I suggest brushing up on the basics by reading the Online Manual. Once you have the page created, you can proceed to the next steps. For my example I chose Ice Condos Phase 1; so I named the page Ice Condos Phase 1, selected the Properties category, entered a Friendly Name of Ice-Condos-P1, and left all the other settings as per their defaults. Once the page has been created, I can either direct someone to it via my domain/friendlyname, i.e. rwsexample.com/ice-condos-p1 – OR – if I have an alternate domain, I can link the domain and have it load the page directly, i.e. ice-condos-p1.ca

Step 2: Use the Heading option to give the page a title. This also stylizes the wording, making the content look nicer. This option also helps with SEO if you incorporate your keyword phrase. I opted for a Heading of Ice Condos Phase 1 – Buy Today! ***

Step 3: Add a Rich Text Box to input the condo’s description and picture. If you have multiple images, select a couple that highlight different aspects about the building. As for a description, you can write your own, or at times, if you request it, the building’s developers will provide a description.

Step 4: Enhance the page by adding any listings available at the address.

Step 5: Add a Form – I opted for the Standard Contact Form, which only has 3 mandatory fields: Name, Phone Number and E-mail Address. This ensures I get the important information without discourage a person from completing the form due to asking for too much information. You can always create your own forms and tailor them to the specific building if you wanted.

Presto! You have completed a simple condo profile that should take you less than an hour to complete once you’ve obtained all the necessary materials to create it.

Hey Jas, You just need to refine your search criteria. Try just 77 Town Centre. It worked for me!

For the IDX Pin Point Flash Seach I put the address: 70 Town Centre Court, Toronto, Ontario M1P 6N4 and it doesn't work. Why not?
